Access Reports

WebFeats creates detailed access reports for all of our subscribers every week. For reporting purposes, a new week begins each Sunday and ends the following Saturday. Every Sunday, we create access reports that analyze the activity on your Web pages for the preceding week.

The access reports are created in HTML format, which allows you to easily view them with your Web browser. The weekly report files, which are placed in your user directory each Sunday, are named according to the following convention:

where mmddyy is the date of the week that ended on Saturday.

For example, the report that was created on Sunday July 9 1995 covered activity for the week that began on Sunday July 2 1995 and ended on Saturday July 8 1995. This report appeared in a file named 070895.HTML in your WebFeats user directory.

Note that, because the report files reside in your user directory, they must fit into the Web space you're paying us for. It is your responsibility to maintain the report files, typically by periodically transferring them to your own computer (via FTP) and then deleting the originals (the report files that reside on the WebFeats webserver). Please let us know if you're not interested in the reports, and we'll stop creating them for you!
